Baptism:  The sacrament of baptism is offered 4 times a year.  Classes for parents/guardians are held a few weeks prior to the sacrament being celebrated.  Classes are currently scheduled for Dec. 6^th, Dec. 13^th, Dec. 20^th, following the 10:00 AM Mass in the PCC. The Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010.  To attend these classes, please contact Deacon Joe or Sharon Filiatreau at 348-9789..

Reconciliation:  First Reconciliation is celebrated in late fall for children in the 2nd grade. Children are prepared for this sacrament through either our Catholic school or our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP).  Children must be enrolled in PREP at least one full year prior to entering a sacramental preparation class.  Contact Terry Rogan at 502-348-6337 or prep@bardstown.com for more information.

The sacrament of reconciliation is offered weekly on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. or by appointment.  Please contact the parish office to set up appointments.

Eucharist:  First Communion is celebrated every spring for children in the 2nd grade.  Children are prepared for this sacrament through either our Catholic school or our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP).  Children must be enrolled in PREP at least one full year prior to entering a sacramental preparation class.  Contact Terry Rogan at 502-348-6337 or prep@bardstown.com for more information.

Confirmation:  Confirmation is celebrated annually with the Archbishop.  Currently we prepare 8th graders for this sacrament in either the school or PREP programs.  Students must have attended PREP for at least one full year immediately prior to entering a sacramental preparation class.  Students are required to attend all monthly sessions, 2 full-day retreats, participate in service activities, and write a personal letter to the Archbishop requesting the sacrament.  Contact Terry Rogan at 502-348-6337 or prep@bardstown.com for more information.

Marriage:  Couples planning to be married in the parish must contact the priest or deacon at least 6 months prior to the wedding.  Do not schedule any date until after meeting with the priest or deacon.  Parish office:  502-348-6337

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults): This is the process through which adults and children above the age of 8 are received into full communion with the Catholic Church.  Anyone interested in this process please contact Terry Rogan at 502-348-6337 or prep@bardstown.com for more information.

2010 RCIA Schedule

PREP (Parish Religious Education Program):  We offer classes for children in grades K-8 on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 p.m. till 8 p.m. beginning late August/early September till early May.  Registration for these classes begins in August each year.  These classes teach the children about the richness of our Catholic faith and prepare them for sacraments.  They are taught by dedicated volunteer catechists.  We also incorporate several family masses throughout the PREP year.    Please contact Terry Rogan at 502-348-6337 or prep@bardstown.com for more information.
